      | | Josh Writes: Heya, Velma. Let me just say first that, being kinda geeky myself, I've always liked the 'studious' types like you. Daphne's got her good
points, but I like you best. Something I've always wondered... Where'd the whole "Jinkies" line come from? A friend of mine jokes that it sound like some sort of brand-name for cat-treats... Velma: Geeky?  I don't think that's a bad
thing. As for Jinkies, a long time ago I answered this question so I
invite you to dig deep into the archives to solve that mystery! Cat
treats? She must remember Mr. Jinks the Cat, who is another HB
classic!  Personally, in most of our adventures, I relate more to
        Pixie and Dixie ! |

      | StuckInSilentHill Writes: Hey, Velma. Yeah, it's me again, Balee. Used a different name this time. :) So, i was just wondering, have you ever watched Sakura Wars? I just
wanted you to know that there's a girl there named Ri Kohran who's just like you: smart, cute and strong-willed. And guess what, you both wear glasses as
well! You and Kohran have a lot of similarities that I just wanted to point out. Please watch it if you have the chance and see for yourself! Thanks and
keep on rockin'!!! Velma: I have to confess that I have not watched it, but I am
        thrilled by the complement ! | |

      | | Jreb Writes: Hi there Velma: I hope you have
recovered from your...Er "clown" experience. The question I like to ask is if you've seen the Sponge Bob
Square pants movie? Why I ask this is because there is a character in it that looks a bit like you: Princess Mindy the
mermaid, pageboy hair, glasses, freckles. Even her name Mindy. Don't you somebody with that name
too? Might there be a mystery here? | | Velma: Recovering just fine Jreb! I have seen it, but I
am not that green, having recovered from my recent "Scooby/Shaggy"
diet. As for the name Mindy, it does ring a bell.......

      | coolgirl Writes: Hi Velma! I loved Scooby Doo 2! It was the best movie. I was just wondering. Is there going to be a Scooby Doo 3? I hope so. I just love Mystery
Inc. You guys are cool. Tell the gang I like thier movies and shows. Thanks.  I have a question. OK I've read many stores about Fred proposing to Daphne. Are they really engaged? It would be great if they were.
They make a good couple don't they? Thanks for reading. You're cool. Velma: Actually, they were very close to doing
that in SD2, but the scene got cut! Just what was Freddy melting in that
bowl? (Click on the picture for the answer) We are all waiting for news
on SD3, it was on again, off again, then on again.... Keep your fingers
        crossed! | |
Dalany Writes: Hi I am Probably your #1 Fan. Your So pretty I wish i looked like you and i love your voice and how you

to kiss another girl? My sister wants to know when your birthday is? and

      | | Koyoshima-kun Writes: Konnichiwa, Velma-chan! I just wanted to know if you like any anime shows. I'm such a big fan of anime AND Scooby Doo, so I try to find a link
between the two! Anyway, thanks for reading this letter and I made an anime version of you and it's on display in my clearbook! Thanks again. Velma: I like the Anime style, in fact, we were drawn in that
style for a brief moment in the second season of the new show! I would
love to see your drawing. |

            | Kia Writes: Velma u are so pretty and smart so
still like that and Freddy is an annoying guy in the movie and in the shows
because he like Daphne so ignore him ok, love u Velma: Fred doesn't bother me. Well, most of the time
he's not a bother. Ok, some of the time he is. OK,
Some of the time he's getting darn-right thick! But we all
love him and I'm sure its just a stage he's going through.  | |

            | | Leanne Asks: Do you think Fred loves Daphne? Velma: I sense a theme to this month's
questions.... That is one of our oldest questions! I have
always had my suspicions, but who am I to say?
 |
Harry Asks: is there ever going to be more hex
girls, like a movie. and do u know were i can get a posters 4 my 4 year old little girl she loves the hex girls please help
Velma: Hummmm.. I am not sure if there is a Hex
Girls site on the web, and I can not help you with the poster. I suspect
they will show up sooner or later as our paths have crossed more than
        once!

            | sd1 Scooby Asks: Velma, who do you think is braver,
Shaggy or Scooby-doo? Velma: Gee, it's so darn close, its too hard to
              answer!  | |

            | | Lizzie Writes: Velma, I've had to wear
glasses for a few years, and now they are getting thicker. Is this
normal? Velma: Once again, a glasses
question!  Only your eye doctor can tell you that, but most
times it is quite normal.  I would not lose sleep over it as
in most cases, it gets to a certain point and then levels
              off.  |

            |

                  | | looker Asks:In the old shows, you guys always wore the same cloths. Now
you all wear all sorts of cloths. Why?
     | | |
            | Velma: In the early days of "Scooby
Doo, Where are You?", we were told to wear the same
outfits whenever possible. This fit in with HB's policy of Character
Recognition.  We were not alone! Almost all shows
from The Flintstones to The Jetsons had
the same policy. I am happy to say we are beyond that now! It
would be hard to find anyone in the world that wouldn't recognize
a picture of Scooby! I'm a little less famous. Most people would
look at my picture and say, "oh, that girl from Scooby Doo."
But still, I am happy to say we are no longer so anonymous that we
have to keep that old policy of Character Recognition going! |
