Velma:  Orange! And hey, Thanks!

PowerDaph writes:  Hey, Velma. Me again!! I just saw 'What's New, Scooby Doo', it's one of the BEST Scooby series EVER, I swear! You're all so great in it! I couldn't help but notice that Freddie seems to have completely changed, he's a bit of a loveable goof now instead of the uptight know-it-all leader he was before. What brought about this change?

Velma:  Must have been that hit on the head ;)

KimlovesScooby writes:  Hey Velma!!!!!!!  I loved watching your new show today.... i thought that you and the rest of the gang looked cool..... oh yea....i gotta question....how is Fred's ankle doing (I hope much better!!!) well.....i gotta go..tell Scooby i love him lots!!!! byeeeeee love.....KimlovesScooby ô_ô ^_^ *_*

Velma:  Oh yes, it's hard to tell anything ever happened to it... Jinkies, it healed in one week! Hummmm....

Mlle. Dinkley writes:  Hey, congrats on the domain name, makes it really personal ;) I watched the new series on Saturday (great timing--33 years and 1 day to the original show's premier) and I liked it, but it felt a little rushed and contrived at times; but still, it was nice to see Scooby and the gang back on Saturday mornings. For the first time in over 10 years, I had a reason to get up early on Saturday. Keep up the good work. Your look alike,  Cathy

Velma:  Well hello again Cathy! I'm happy I was able to get the name, it's so easy for people to remember!  Glad you liked the new show! There will always be some bugs to work out, but I'm glad we are back on too!

meg writes:  I'ld like for you to see if you can put scoby-doo on "1 saterday morning"?

Velma:  Ummm.. how can I say this. Disney owns "1 Saturday Morning", we work for Warner Brothers now.  It would be kind of like expecting to buy a Big Mac, at Pizza hut.

should i be ether you (velma) or daphnie, for Hollowen?

Velma:  Me!  Haa!  Be whatever you want, it's your life, always remember that!

jreb writes:  This is a neat site [better than Daphs]! I'v noticed that the girls in "Whats New Scooby Doo" are wareing the same outfits that Buffy & Linda C. wore in the movie. OK any chance that Velma will be sporting the "hotie top" that turned all of us guys heads last summer!

Velma:  You are going to get me in trouble saying things like that! (kidding) I really do own more the sweaters though!

Pepe writes:  Hi Velma! I know this inquiry shows my ignorance, but my family and friends grew up knowing you as Thelma (not to be confused with your cousin or Aunt). I even bet on it. Were you ever confused, too, since several recent movie reviewers also called you Thelma?

Velma:  Nope !  I've always been Velma, but you are not alone! In out old series, the name did not appear in the credits. Many people made (and are still making) that mistake.

mason writes:  Hi Velms how are you? I am doing fiWne, I saw the new series and you guys did wonderful and frank did a good deed Scooby. Anyway I got a couple of questions.
1.I heard that Don Knotts was supposed to be the oringal villain and not Scrappy is this true?

Velma:  News to me!

2.Will Scooby Dum be in Scooby Doo 2?

Velma:  I actually hope not. As fond as I am of Scooby, I have some problems with his relatives.

3.At the end of the first movie it said there was a monster terrioring London is that where the sequal be flimed? thanks.

Velma:  As of today (10/19/02) the screenplay for the new movie has not been written.

Buzz Cuts writes:  Velma, Some friends of mine have said behind your back that you've been dyeing your hair for the past 30 years. Is that true? And when are you going to start using bifocals? Oh, and has Daphne ever used henna rinse?

Velma:  I have not!  As for bifocals, not yet. My glasses work just fine!
