Yep! Junk food junkie!Laura writes: " What kind of food do you like? and if so what is it? how come Scooby and Shaggy sneaks out of a case?"

Velma: I hate to say this, but pizza and a malted milk shake are my favorite combo! I know, you all were expecting me to list all these healthy foods, but sorry, I like junk food!

Hey, Velma! Amanda here! (I'm becoming a frequent visitor here, aren't I? LOL!) Hey! I'm German, too! And that sparked a question from me: Does Daphne have Irish roots? And are any of you part Indian? Thanks!

Velma: Daphne is 1/4 Irish, the red hair gives her away! I am ½ German, and the rest is quite a mix but does include 1/16 American Indian.

Misteryman writes: " Hi Velma! I,m a big fan of your work and I have some questions for you.
1.- I have seen that you are the bravest of the group, why are you so brave?"

Velma: I just try to think logically, fear is not logical. (But sometimes is very useful!)

2.- Do you have pockets on your clothes, because I haven't seen you one.?

Yikes!Velma: Yes, but they are not too visible.

3.- Do you exercise frequently, because I know you are strong because you carry the whole team one time.?

Velma: No, but adrenalin can work wonders!

4. - Will you print these dumb questions for me, please, pretty please with sugar on top?

Velma: I just did!

Not a swimsuit .. but...William writes: " Dear Velma, I like your favorite cartoon Scooby Doo. How come your weight and your size. Did you freckled face break down. Or you just yelled Jenkies. Or you wearing a swimsuit about your size. How come you and Daphne and Freddy were best friends."

Velma: Thank you, I think... er... my weight has varied, my face never broke out (acne), I do have light freckles. That's Jinkies ! I don't quite understand the swimsuit question, as for why I have the friends I do, gee, chemistry, I guess.

Couger writes: " Do you know who does the voice of Scooby Doo ??? and the voice of Scrappy Doo?"

Velma: See the casting section for a list of who did our voice-overs. Scrappy Who?

Mason writes: "I heard that WB is going to the put the Scooby Doo movie ad with Harry Potter and the stone, also I heard that Scooby Doo is going to be rated PG, and I think that Dream, or Sugar ray is going to sing the theme song. I just discovered that the Scooby Doo movie website is up on the net, The cast has signed for a second Scooby Doo movie called: Scooby Doo 2."

Velma: True on the Harry Potter promo, true also on the PG rating. Batting 1000 on Sugar Ray, but the website is only partially up, and SD2 will not be made unless SD1 makes a lot of money!

Ouch! Wrong glasses!Moose writes: " A Quelle acuite' vos verres corrigent-ils votre vision? Merci."

Velma: I believe you asked "How strong are your glasses to correct your vision?" A lot of people ask that, but I think this is the first time it was asked in French! -10 diopters. Click Here for more info.

Books! Books and more books!

Elagabalus writes: " Evidently you had completed high school at 15. Did you take college level courses through the mail, between mysteries? If you did, did you receive them at home or did you have your own post-office box."

Velma: No, I went to a conventional collage during the time the rest of the gang completed high school.

I am probably even more ticklish then I am nearsighted!!Wolle writes: " Hi Velma, I will have some new questions for you: Will you tell secrets if someone tickles you feet??? Could you hold still when someone takes your glasses and tells you, you will only get them back when you hold still for a minute???? When you speak a little German I try to ask you a German question: Soll ich dir helfen deutsch zu lernen???"

Velma: More feet tickling questions! I probably would spill my guts if someone did that, and would probably have to live my life without my glasses as well! As for your last question, thank you for offering to teach me German. For now I will pass, but I may take it up at a later date if time permits.
