Amanda writes: Hey, Velma! I was watching Cartoon Network today, and I saw a commercial with all the Cartoon Network characters eating lunch in the cafeteria, and the lunch man said, "Stick to your own kind!" It was nice of you on how you treated Sheep on his first day - I'll bet he was nervous!
(Sorta like the first day of school!) But I had a few questions to ask you about this:
1.) Why was Fred being so rude and laughing at you?
Velma: Freddy
gets like that every now and then. Wait till you see him in the movie next year!
(He really is a nice guy though.)
2.) I saw everyone else, but where was Daphne?
Velma: I
think she was off studying Judo. I know, it makes no sense, but you'll see
why next year.
3.) Shaggy seemed to be on your side - but then he, Scooby, and Freddy started throwing food at you! What was with everyone that day? I thought you guys were pals!
Velma: Full
moon!
I was wondering that for quite some time, and thinking I should ask ya. I admire how you stood up for the "little guy" that day - that takes real guts! And - just a couple more questions that have been racking my brain:
1.) After "The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo", what happened to Scrappy? (I was just wondering, cause we didn't see any of him after that)
Velma: Who?
(hee hee) Remember, this is a S-----y free website.
2.) What became of Flim Flam and Vincent Van Ghoul after that series? Do you still keep in touch?
Velma: No,
we never stayed in touch. My fault! I am very bad at letters and cards. I
believe Daphne kept in touch though, She is very good with the whole card thing!
3.) I admit - I'm a Flim Flam fan as well as a fan to you guys. Did he and Daphne share a brother/sister bond, or a mother/son bond? I noticed as I watched the show, that they were pretty close.
Velma: Oh,
don't tell Fred that! He'll get all uptight! It really was a brother / sister
thing.
4.) And last but not least . . . what did Daphne, Scooby, Shaggy, and Flim Flam do with the Chest Of Demons after they caught the last of the thirteen ghosts?
Velma: They
never told me..... Hummmm...
Thanks for hearing my questions, Vel! I hope it's not too much. Give Scooby a hug for me! I'm looking forward to
"Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase", and the live-action movie! I'll bet they'll be box office HITS! Anyways, thanks again! Best wishes! PS-

Danielle writes: Do you like to be on the
Scoobydoo shows?
Velma: Of course! I loved doing the shows, that's why we still do movies!
Are you really as smart as you are because I think your pretty cool!
Velma: Thank you!
By the way how's Scoobydoo is he still cute?
Velma: Of
course!
Kim writes: I was wondering Velma, how many Scooby-Doo episodes are there?
thanks!!
Velma: Ahk!
I knew someone would ask me that one! I really lost count, sorry! Christine
has a very good site that details all the shows we did! Click on her site

Meg writes: Did you ever get jealous of Fred and Daphne?
Velma: You mean because of their friendship (+) ? No. Sometimes it made me feel lonely though.
Did you ever catch them together?
Velma: Ha! I would never tell!
What would you do if you did? thanx!
Velma: What
they do is their business. They are both intelligent, mature people. Well..
intelligent then !
Wolle writes: Hi Velma, I´ve got a few questions for you: Are you ticklish under your feet???
Velma: Odd question. Actually, I am!
If yes, how long can you hold still???
Velma:
Zero seconds.
How strong are your glasses???
Velma: For those who know about the numbers, I am about a -10, or 20/2000
Can you see some without them??
Velma: Ever wake up with your eyes watered over? That's what things look like to me without glasses.
Do you speak German????
Velma: No.
Not fluent. I guess you figured out that I had German family roots! My
parents never spoke it at home, just my grandmother. I thought of taking a class
or two, but for now, I can only count to twenty in German, and I do know the
Das, Der, Die thing. (I think)
Mason writes: Hey
Velma when you and the gang are being chased by the monsters
would that be all of your guys's morning run and Scooby's walk?
Velma: Ha! I never thought of it as an exercise routine, but I guess you could think of it as one!
