(Somewhat) New Live Action Series

| The series actually came out last year 2023 and as far as I can tell Episode #1 is the only episode available to watch. They are working on Episode #2, but are funding this project as they go. It brings new meaning to working on a low budget, and is probably less of a budget than the food budget for most movies. Still, I am shocked at how much they did with so little to work with! | This is a slightly more adult take on the gang. Episode #1 sets the stage by introducing the characters and throwing a big mystery at their feet! Obviously, Shaggy and Scooby are already friends predating the plot. Velma and Fred are the first two to link up to untangle a massive mystery. Daphne and Shaggy haven't really joined up with them yet, but are deeply involved in the mystery as well. The episode runs about an hour and I found it very entertaining! I won't throw in any spoilers as I this it is well worth watching. My take on Velma was that they really kept her in the original character. This is a giant relief after enduring that other Velma series we were subjected to! | |
