Velma: Well, what was the point in keeping her! Our job is to solve the mystery, what happens afterward is not up to us.

Velma: Shrek is great! Like the music. I think the casting was great too!

bra1n1ac Writes: Hi. My first question is this. Did it ever creep you out to work alongside guys like the Adams Family, or did you enjoy that in it's uniqueness.

Velma: Yes, it got creepy! But what can I say, we are in a creepy profession!

Secondly, I suppose that everyone has a role model. Someone they look up to, who gives them hope. So many look up to people like Superman, but you are my role model no contest. Did you ever think when you started the show that you might wind up giving people hope?

Velma: Actually, I never figured on that one. Thank you!

Lastly, I heard from one source that you were dropped by the show's producers at the appearance of... someone... But another source told me you just couldn't stand this... person... and left of your own free will. Which is true?

Velma: Hummmm.. The mutt. Well, I'm a little biased on that one. My feeling is I left on my own, but there were budget issues.

Darla Writes: Who does Velma's voice? In the new 2002 Scooby movie does Scooby have to be a robot? Why cant he be a real dog!!??!!??

Velma: Linda Cardellini plays me in the new movie, voice and all. As for Scooby, if you heard he was going to be a robot, you heard wrong!

chezd Writes: Did you like Daphne when you, Fred, Shaggy and Scooby first met her?

Velma: Oh yea! Some rumors were out there, but let there be no doubt, I thought she was great.

kevin Writes: Velma I have 2 questions for you

1. Are you hoping that the live movie will be a hit?

Velma: Very much so!

2. Will the live movie lead to new Scooby Doo shows? thank you bye.

Velma: That's hard to say. Then new movie is aimed at an adult audience and therefore by itself probably will not start a new series. That being said, if the movie generates a resurgence in interest, WB might just do it!

william Writes: Do you think Fred and Daphne are getting married. Are they having a comic book series. Or your going solo to become a mystery writer biography become Scooby Doo And The Gang. Do you having a Fred and Daphne loveline on the website. Do having a new Scooby Doo music video. I watch you on the beach with Fred and Daphne lying on the sand. I like a new Danger-prone Daphne video and jeepers. I like Daphne in a swimsuit winking in the beach. Velma long your glasses wearing it. Do have a Velma Fred and Daphne on the web.

Velma: They may. They Don't. And I don't! I'm glad you like Daphne but she has a few sites of her own. I've worn my glasses a long time. Whew! That's a lot of questions!

Ash Wtites: Dear Velma, Does Scooby Doo as a heart?

Velma: With out a doubt !

John Writes: Actually, It is more of a statement. Velma, I always felt you were and still are the most good looking of the gang. I mean, Daphne is ok but you are by far the most interesting and the most real. In fact, what interested me the most was that you used you head without getting one.

Velma: Thank you! And no, that wasn't a letter from our John!

Koolkatt101 Writes: Do you think that Daphne and Fred will ever get married? Have you always enjoyed solving mysteries?

Velma: I get so many letters about Daphne and Fred (see above). I don't know, but I kind-of think they will. Yes, I have always enjoyed solving mysteries!

Kelly Writes: Hi Velma! I just saw "Scooby Doo and The Cyber Chase" and loved it! After going online looking for more info I found a summary of the movie that said that Eric was an old friend of The Gang. This got me thinking (curse my mind) about your boyfriend situation again. I think that you two make a pretty good couple. What do you think?

Velma: Well, something has to click and that didn't happen with Eric. Nice guy, but I just didn't feel that "it" that you need to feel.

Adam Writes: Hi! Velma, this is Adam and I live in Tacoma, Washington and hopefully when I grow up I would like to do the same kind of things you guys do. Anyway, I was wondering what sports do you like and if you do like sports, which teams do you like?

Velma: That is my one failing. I just am not a big sports fan! My default would always be teams from my local area.
